Real Skills is a simulator based advanced driver training center. As an advanced training center, our focus is on insuring that drivers aquire the vehicle handling and traffic awareness skills that they need to stay safe on the road.

Did you know that 16 year-old drivers have a crash rate that is nearly 10 times as high as middle-aged drivers, and 3-4 times as high as older teenagers? The reason for this is simple: lack of experience in both recognizing dangerous situations and knowing what to do when when they occur. Until now, the only way to gain this valuable experience was out on the road, quite often while distracted by other teenagers. It's no surprise such experiences so often end in heartache.

At Real Skills our goal is to get new drivers, and many experienced ones, the critical experience they need in just a few hours using simulated scenarios that duplicate the most dangerous driving scenarios; the ones that experienced drivers have seen dozens of times but come as a surprise to the new driver.

The training we provide cannot safely be learned any other way: from emergency braking and steering to evasive maneuvers and hazard awareness. The driving my be simulated but the skills are real.
